The CBA is happy
to announce that we have set up a SMART Scholarship Fund with the
USBC to allow the youth bowlers to bowl the CBA Singles Tournaments.
Starting with the July 27th, 2008 tournament at New Hope Bowl, any
youth 18 years of age or older can participate. The Entry Fee
is $80 and the Optional Qualifying is $40 and money will be paid
into the SMART Fund. The Membership fee is $50 per CBA season but a
bowler can bowl their first tournament without paying the
membership.
The Youth Bowler
is responsible for supplying the USBC Prize Waiver form to the
CBA
Optional
Jackpots, Brackets and the mini eliminators are not included for the
youth bowler as that money is paid out in cash and not by a prize
check.
